Matt Clyne is the President and CEO of PayTech Trust. Headquartered in the Dulles Corridor of Northern Virginia, PayTech Trust is an emerging leader in the financial technology industry. With offices throughout the Mid-Atlantic region PayTech Trust specializes in helping businesses increase their efficiencies, lower their costs and optimize their processes by focusing on payroll, HR services and electronic merchant payment solutions. Prior to a successful sale Matt was the CEO and President of Direct Connect. A Blue Diamond-award winning company Direct Connect provided customized electronic payment processing to over 15,000 businesses and integrated Software Providers across the United States. Matt is a veteran of the payment processing industry with 29 years of experience. He is a sought after speaker at regional acquirer associations. He served as Sage Payment Solutions’ Senior Vice President of Sales. Prior to joining Sage, Mr. Clyne was General Manager of U.S. Operations for Optimal Payments. Prior to joining Optimal Payments, he held various positions at TeleCheck, a division of First Data Corp. He serves on several Boards and is active in philanthropy.
